This event is for dentists who are 0-8 years away from a transition.
In this course, you will learn about the legal, financial, logistical, and emotional aspects of transitioning out of your full-time dental practice. Our team of experts will lecture and conduct Q&A sessions on the following topics:

SPEAKERS
Rod Johnston, MBA, CMA, Owner and Principal Broker, Omni Practice Group – Rod has a vast amount of knowledge, experience, and education in all aspects of business and real estate that provide an incredible value to every medical practice. He has managed, owned, partnered, and consulted with numerous practices throughout the Northwest over the past decade. All have benefited from Rod’s experience in staff management, accounting, marketing, and practice management. Prior to Omni, Rod spent 15 years as Director of Treasury and also Director of Accounting for AT&T Wireless. Rod is a licensed commercial broker and specializes in commercial real estate. He has an MBA from Seattle University, is a Certified Management Accountant, and is a member of the Institute of Business Appraisers and the National Association of Practice Brokers.
Bruce Johnson, DDS, Practice Transition Consultant, Omni Practice Group – After 40 years of private practice dentistry, Bruce Johnson, DDS, decided to shift gears to serve the Arizona community as a Dental Transition Broker for OMNI Practice Group. Dr. Johnson has owned and operated 3 full-time dental practices. He is a member of the ADA, the Washington State Dental Association, the Seattle-King County Dental Society, and the Seattle Study Club. He is also a member of the Peer Review Committee and Forensic Committee and has Locum Tenens Experience.
Mark Battiato, Consultant – Mark graduated from Arizona State University with a B.S. in marketing in 1979. He started his own marketing company managing 60 employees nationwide. He then positioned with 3M Company for five years in the National Advertising Division and was the recipient of several awards for his sales and marketing performance throughout his tenure with 3M. He was recruited by The Center for Professional Development in 1992. Mark worked with Dr. Michael Schuster and analyzed 300 dental practices in the Northwestern territory of the U.S. Together they helped to position dentists for a private care practice model. Mark is now the co-founder and Director of Practice Growth. Mark founded The Growth Into Greatness Institute, which he co-founded with Deb Castillo in 2000. As CEO, Mark’s primary responsibility is to provide one-on-one coaching and practice development in areas of profitability, financial management and staff development. He also conducts small retreats for students engaged in the development process. Through his commitment to this work, Mark is passionate about helping others achieve their own greatness, and to aspire to levels of growth and excellence they thought were never possible.
